Glen Rock is conveniently located in close proximity to many major roadways and offers public transportation by bus or train to New York City and beyond. 

The Glen Rock Public School District offers both excellent academics and athletic programs. The district consists of six schools, including the following four kindergartens through fifth grade elementary schools: Richard E. Byrd School, Central Elementary School, Clara E. Coleman School and Alexander Hamilton Elementary School. Glen Rock has one middle school, Glen Rock Middle School, and Glen Rock High School consistently places in the top 50 public schools in the state of New Jersey. Over 90% of students in Glen Rock continue on to a two of four-year college upon graduation. 

In recent years, Glen Rock’s football team won five consecutive state championships and the girls soccer team has been a successful team in New Jersey for over a decade. Glen Rock is also home to one parochial school, Academy of our Lady, which is affiliated with St. Catherine's Roman Catholic church.
