Ocean County is located along the Jersey Shore and has been one of the fastest growing areas in New Jersey since the 1990s. There are approximately 560,000 residents that populate the area. Ocean County was established in 1850 and is located roughly 50 miles east of Philadelphia and 70 miles south of New York City, both of which are easily accessible through public transportation and the major highways that run through the county.
